Schedule
- All about the renovation and new construction schedule -
Since housing responsibilities were transferred to Picerne in May 2002, some wonderful improvements have taken place on post. Picerne has built 585 new homes and completed more than 882 renovations.
Renovations to our on-post housing are performed on a home-by-home basis and may include such enhancements as new siding, gutters, shutters, paint touch-ups, exterior light fixtures, porch additions, cabinets, flooring, countertops and upgraded appliance packages.
Of the existing homes, more than 2200 received "first turns." A "first turn" is performed to existing housing that had not been "touched" since Picerne assumed responsibility for housing in 2002. First turns usually consist of painting, furnishing new carpet, new flooring, mini blinds, light fixtures and adding all of the touches of home possible before the home is renovated.
It is very important to Picerne to help increase the quality of life and comfort levels to all residents living in all homes on post while new construction continues.
In addition to new housing and renovations, Picerne has also performed various enhancements and renovations post wide including asphalt, curb and sidewalk repairs, parking lot line striping and landscaping renovations in an effort to beautify the neighborhoods as well as the post.”
