The Army Wife Network will host two free Field Exercise events filled with friendship, laughter, prizes, advice and self-discovery September 18-19 at Fort Meade. The sessions will feature a full lunch or dinner, door prizes and giveaways.

A winter storm warning is in effect for Fort Meade through Thursday evening. We are forecasted to receive inclement weather with 4 or more inches of snow and sleet.

Maryland is forecasted to receive inclement weather with significant snowfall of up to 8 inches. The Corvias Military Living team, along with Snow Movers and KCS Landscaping, is prepared and will make every effort to clear the neighborhood streets and sidewalks as quickly as possible.

Power is currently out in approximately 100 homes in Potomac Place and Patriot Ridge due to a tree falling on a power line. Families who are impacted can go to McGill training Center on Zimborski Avenue or the Potomac Place Community Center at 4998 Second Corps Boulevard. DPW is working to repair the line and hopes to have power restored in the next two hours.

Directorate of Public Works (DPW) has restored power to the impacted homes in Potomac Place and Patriot Ridge. The outage was caused by a tree falling on a power line. Any residents without restored power or who have emergency maintenance requests should contact the neighborhood office at 410.672.2981.
